Bang & Bonsomer acquires Kiranto Foods A/S
As of August 7, 2019 Bang & Bonsomer has acquired all shares of Kiranto Foods A/S.
Kiranto Foods A/S is a Scandinavian producer of functional and spice blends with production facilities and offices in Farum, Denmark. Kiranto Foods A/S is specialized in customized high quality food blends for the meat and convenience foods applications. Innovation, quality, knowledge and service are important and fundamental values for the company to offer customers new and unique product solutions.
Bang & Bonsomer is a material technology company and a distributor for a wide range of industrial raw materials and additives in Finland, Scandinavia, CIS-countries and the Baltic States. Bang & Bonsomer has seven industry-oriented business units that specialize in sales and services for industry focused applications. In 2018 group sales were 170 M€ and employees over 300.
The acquisition strengthens Bang & Bonsomer’s position within the meat and convenience foods industries. The acquisition enables expansion of Kiranto Foods A/S sales further to Nordic countries and it offers Bang & Bonsomer a platform to expand its other businesses into Denmark.
All the personnel of Kiranto Foods A/S, except the former owners Anders and Kirsten Toft, will continue in Bang & Bonsomer. Kiranto Foods A/S will be merged to Bang & Bonsomer Group and Kiranto will stay as a brand name for the products in Denmark.
