STRENGHTENING OUR FOCUS ON THE PU- AND GRP-BUSINESSES

Based on input from our sales force, our own market intelligence and our suppliers, we have identified strong development of the customer base and sales potential in the Poly Urethanes and Glass Reinforced Plastic’s-businesses throughout our market region. Consequently the Bang & Bonsomer Group has decided to re-install a Business Unit focusing on the above mentioned application areas.

This new Business Unit, which will be called Performance Products, will focus on a customer segment producing PU foams (soft, rigid, moulded), PU-systems, elastomers and cast parts. The focus area with the GRP-products are the plastic composites producers, moulders, boat / vessel-builders among others dealing with e.g. epoxies.

Performance Products has in fact been kicked-off on October 1^st 2007 and the business is headed by Mr. Marek Pohla, already today active in selling the GRP- and PU-products on the Baltic markets.

Bang & Bonsomer’s idea is to considerably strengthen the sales forces capacity and knowledge of these two, in our view, future markets. To be successful in sales to the market segment, we will naturally also have to complete and strengthen our product range as well as committing our current suppliers to expanding and supporting our sales efforts. This work has already been started and a plan on what we want to achieve on the product / supplier side has already been fixed.

Marek Pohla and his new team are looking forward to serving all our customers in our whole geographical market area (Finland, the Baltic States and the CIS-countries).
